Big Agnes® Inc., maker of innovative sleeping bags, pads and tents, recently entered into an exclusive North American distribution agreement with DAC, the leading manufacturer of tent poles, to introduce their revolutionary collection of Helinox® brand trekking poles. Big Agnes is set to distribute the Helinox trekking pole line in Spring 2011.

The 2011 Helinox trekking pole line features 11 different models incorporating the following designs: Dual Button Lock System™, Tension Lock System™, Groove Lock System™ and DAC Screw Lock System™. Helinox poles are engineered with an exclusive aluminum alloy specifically developed by DAC, which provides strength to weight characteristics found on more expensive poles. All aluminum pole sections will be anodized by DAC using their proprietary in-house environmentally friendly process.
