Big Brands On Board Again for Malakye.com’s Shmooz at OR

MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. (July 22, 2015) – The North Face, JanSport, Lucy, Petzl, Carhartt, CamelBak and Industrial Revolution have had such valuable experiences at the Shmooz at Outdoor Retailer in the past that they are returning for this summer’s event on August 7th. In search of new talent for current and future needs, these companies will join a roster of other leading outdoor brands to connect with people of all different backgrounds and experience levels.

Kelly Bader, Business Development Manager for the Outdoor and Bike categories at Malakye.com, has seen the bi-annual event evolve over the past four years. “The majority of the brands attending this summer’s Shmooz at OR are repeat participators,” says Bader. “Many have made multiple hires as a direct result of the event, and all have made meaningful connections and educated people about their brand and their employment culture. The fact that these companies see such value in the Shmooz is huge, and a true testament to its ability to produce results. The Shmooz at Outdoor Retailer is scheduled for Friday, August 7th from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Running in conjunction with Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in Salt Lake City, UT, the Shmooz will take place at the Salt Lake City Marriott Downtown, across the street from the convention center.
