Big Mountain Skier Erik Roner signs with KLIИT

KLIИT is psyched to announce the addition of big mountain skier Erik Roner to its stable of athletes. “I’m excited to be joining the KLIИT team and I’m looking forward to helping the growth and direction of this passionate company,” Erik said.

Erik will be a part of a unique collaboration between KLIИT and Rockstar Energy. Erik explained, “I like to step outside the box and push the envelope. I have had a great relationship with Rockstar for more that two years now, so when the opportunity came to expand our relationship and ride the new Rockstar branded KLIИTskis this winter I was all over it. It is a great way to introduce some innovative new Rockstar graphics and programs combined with the magical performance of KLIИT skis!”

Erik is no stranger to TV and Film. He is featured on the MTV show Nitro Circus with Travis Pastrana, where he is known for his skiing and base jumping stunts. He has been busy filming for the launch of a new Nitro Circus 3D movie for more than a year. His skiing ability has been showcased for more than seven years in Teton Gravity Research films, appearing in Under The Influence, Lost And Found, Anomaly, The Tangerine Dream, Soul Purpose, High Life, Harvest, Salad Days, Light The Wick and One For The Road.

He summed up his feelings about his new Rockstar Energy/KLIИT skis saying, “I skied on the KRYPTO in South America this summer and was really impressed with its qualities. The ski is quick, easy to turn and very playful…but will hold an edge in adverse conditions if you commit. I can’t wait for the winter!!”
