BURLEY INITIATES PRODUCT RECALL PROGRAM FOR BALLZ QR SKEWER

EUGENE, OR (July 12, 2021) – Burley®, an Oregon based outdoor recreation brand dedicated to making it easier for people to get out there by bike, announces it is working with the Consumer Products Safety Commission (“CPSC”) to recall Ballz® QR Skewers shipped between August 2018 and June 2021.
This announcement specifically pertains to the Burley Ballz QR skewers that were sold as individual components, as well as Ballz QR Skewers that were included in the sale of the Coho XC® Trailer (Model No. 935101).
Burley will replace the affected Ballz QR Skewer free of charge to its customers. Customers are directed to stop using their Ballz QR Skewer immediately and contact Burley through this form to receive instructions on how to dispose of their current Ballz QR skewer and how to receive a replacement. Replacement Skewers will be available in September 2021.
