September 7, 2021 – Reno, NV – Ride Concepts is proud to continue our relationship with Whistler Mountain Bike Park as the official shoe sponsor. Arguably North America’s preeminent mountain bike facility, Whistler Mountain Bike Park is the leader in mountain biking facilities, programming, events, and trail design and a great partner for our ongoing testing and development.
With the bike park boasting 106 trails and 5,000 vertical feet of lift service from top to bottom, it’s no surprise the staff run their equipment ragged, averaging over 60 miles and a massive amount of descending each week, not including their personal ride time. All of this use and abuse provides valuable feedback that reinforces specific feature benefits and leads to direct updates in the product.
Factory Athlete Geoff Gulevich can attest to this, saying, “It’s been an absolute blast working with Ride Concepts over the past few years. RC makes incredibly comfortable and durable shoes, perfect footwear for hammering out laps all day in Whistler Bike Park, and enjoying that pint at the end of the day. Can’t go wrong!”
The Whistler Mountain Bike Park is currently open in line with COVID-19 health recommendations and we look forward to the world coming together for Crankworx once again as we continue our partnership next year. The 10-day celebration of all things mountain biking will include the Whistler stop of the Enduro World Series, and the 10th anniversary of Red Bull Joyride.
