KENT, Washington (September 13, 2016) — Diamondback Bicycles is pleased to introduce a series of educational cycling videos and articles featuring acclaimed educator and TV personality Bill Nye, aimed at simplifying the sport to get more people riding bikes. The video series, “Let’s Ride with Bill Nye”, launches today, educating beginner cyclists on how to choose the right bike.
“At Diamondback we like to think bikes are pretty simple, but we’ve been living and breathing them for 40 years,” says Steve Westover, director of marketing for Diamondback. “We realize that for many people getting into cycling can be intimidating, so we reached out to our friend Bill Nye for help. In this series Bill breaks down the basics of biking into easy to understands segments, bringing his trademark humor and style to each.”
The series features five videos along with supporting online content, covering various topics such as types of bikes, proper fit, shifting and braking basics. Each is hosted by Nye and features his entertaining, scientific presentation style, while giving beginners the tools and knowledge necessary for a successful experience on a bike.
