This burly seat offers heavy duty dependability and strength, all with classic style and easy setup, expanding your range of outdoor comfort.

Blue Ridge Chair Works crafts beautifully constructed and versatile folding outdoor chairs and tables, designed to be high-quality and comfortable. Using ergonomically friendly designs and materials made in the USA, they use a range of traditional craftsmanship practices by seasoned craft and outdoorsman Alan Davis. Environmental sustainability is every bit as important as the comfort, ease-of-use, and endurance of their furniture.

“I never wanted to be a great BIG company, I wanted to be a GREAT small company,” said Davis.

Cutting import fuel costs, without compromising his high standards and determination to produce quality, sustainable furniture, Alan followed through on his commitment to producing materials in Western North Carolina, embracing the heritage of southern Appalachian craftsmanship. For the past 14 years, Blue Ridge Chair’s main factory has been in Franklin, NC where about 10 skilled woodworkers and laborers are employed.
