Bob Nagy, a life-long industry veteran and outdoor advocate died from heart complications in late December 2014. Bob leaves behind his wife Sue and two daughters, Lindsey and Kristen.

Bob started his outdoor career in Southern California as a buyer at Pat’s Ski Shop. He started his rep career with Phil and Nancy Oren’s BST Group as the original So Cal North Face rep group which they represented for 12 years. Bob’s excellence at TNF was followed by 20 years representing Mountain Hardwear and 25 years of representing Wigwam. Bob’s long tenure with such great outdoor brands as those mentioned above plus Asolo (25 years), Babolat Tennis (12 years), Royal Robbins (8years), Terramar (12 years), Manzella (10 years) and Croakies (20 years) and most recently HydroFlask, speaks volumes not only about Bob’s work ethic and industry acumen, but more importantly to the great relationships that Bob nurtured with all those that he came to know.

Bob and John Rush became the principals of BST Sports 16 years ago and in total have been partners and confidants in BST Sports for 32 years serving Southern California, Arizona and Southern Nevada. Bob will be greatly missed.

The Nagy family is hosting a memorial in celebration of Bob’s life on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church, 2900 West Carson Street, Torrance, CA. 90503.
