Last summer, Martin Davis-Skjøth took the helm as Head of Design for the brand, bringing twenty years of apparel design experience with sixteen years of experience in the fitness and outdoor apparel industry, in both the U.S. and abroad. His past work includes positions with big-time names like Under Armor, Reebok and Nike. New to the team is Design Assistant and Patternmaker Emily Laclau, who also has significant global fashion experience, working most recently in luxury swimwear and high-end theater costuming.ents and commitments. In order for the new design team to effectively create market-leading product, Bomber Gear has invested in a world-class workspace – the Bomber Gear Design Studio (BGDS) – that is now fully operational and in use. The BGDS is abundantly equipped to handle the design process from conception up to production with professional grade, industrial patternmaking software, a digitizer and plotter and top-notch sewing machines, and a hot air seam tape machine. On the way is additional testing equipment to duplicate what is currently in use at the Bomber Gear factory, including a hydro-static machine to check sealed seams and a specialized dunk tank to analyze overall waterproofness.

From the minds of this experienced team and out of the game-changing BGDS, the industry will soon see a new Bomber Gear product line that is authentic for paddlers of any experience level, highly innovative in concept and execution, and truly bomber on all fronts. The new collection will debut at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market later this year.
