GREENVILLE, S.C. (May 1, 2013) – This past weekend, Bomber Gear sponsored the US Kayak Freestyle Team Trials, the most elite US freestyle competition and the qualifying event for September’s ICF Canoe Freestyle World Championships. Top kayak athletes from across the United States competed on the 2013 Wave on the Nantahala River for a spot on the US team.
“Bomber Gear offers some of the most technically advanced paddling gear in the world, and similarly, these elite freestyle paddlers at the Team Trials set out to show off their most advanced skills, making this partnership a natural pairing,” said Jessica Prescott, marketing manager for Bomber Gear. “We were proud to not only be a part of the competition, but to also join in giving back to those who need it. It was a great weekend, and we are looking forward to the continued action at the World Championships this fall.”
In addition to sponsoring the Team Trials, Bomber Gear teamed up with Endless River Adventures to provide prizes at the 9th Annual Wave Sport Nantahala Open at Nantahala Falls and also raffle items, which benefited Team River Runner’s inspirational Wounded Warriors kayak program.
