“Brooks-Range has very strong brand awareness in the ski and mountaineering community so we thought sponsoring the U.S. Snowshoe Team would be a natural extension of the brand to help us spread the word among athletes in alternative winter sports,†says Jeff Blakely, general manager for Brooks-Range Mountaineering Equipment. “Many of these athletes are going to be competing all across the U.S. and abroad in numerous international snowshoe race events during the 2011/12 season and Brooks-Range is excited to be a part of that.â€
