BOLT SERIES Power Products to Launch in January 2015

(Boulder, CO) August 6, 2014— Equipment brand Brunton will debut a range of portable power products built for outdoor professionals, the BOLT SERIES. The BOLT SERIES devices feature a rugged, portable design and boast a high capacity output in order to power the multiple devices needed to perform demanding outdoor jobs, such as geology and photography. The professional grade products will be offered in two sizes, the BOLT PRO XL and the BOLT PRO. The new products will be available in January 2015 at specialty outdoor retailers and online at www.brunton.com.

BOLT SERIES PRODUCT Highlights

BOLT PRO XL

The BOLT PRO XL features a 512WH Lithium Polymer battery with a 500-watt continuous output. The device has a large enough capacity to power any device under 500 watts and features several input and output receptors. Input ports include: AC 110V and SOLAR; output ports include: 2xAC 110V, DC 15V, USB 5V; model with EU 220V input and output ports also available. The power device is housed in an IPX 5 waterproof case and features built-in protection against overload, overheat and output short circuit, as well as under-voltage monitoring using intelligent internal circuit controls. The BOLT PRO XL gives the user multiple options for simultaneous charging.

BOLT PRO

The BOLT PRO has the same ports and protective features as the BOLT PRO XL with reduced dimensions and weight to create a mid-capacity portable power solution. The BOLT PRO has a 256WH lithium polymer battery with a continuous 400-watt output. User-friendly LED screens provide an easy read on power usage. The intelligent design of the BOLT PRO allows for simultaneous charge and discharge.
