Buck Consolidates Offices in Idaho, Names New Sales & Marketing Team

When Buck Knives opened its new manufacturing plant in Post Falls, Idaho, two years ago, the company maintained its sales and marketing offices in El Cajon, Calif., for continuity. Now, the transition has been completed as CJ Buck, president and CEO, announced all offices are under one roof in Idaho, and a new sales and marketing team is in place.

Dave Duggin has been promoted to VP of Sales after two years as Buck’s Director of Sales where he was instrumental in growth rates of more than 10%, along with strengthening their partnership with retailers.

At the same time, John Weaver has been named VP of Business Development, focused on special projects and OEM projects to better utilize the capacity of Buck’s new Idaho facility.

Dave Visnack has joined Buck as VP of Marketing, bringing 16 years of experience in the outdoor business, the last seven as Director of Marketing and E-Commerce for SmartWool, recently acquired by Timberland.

“My job was creating an exciting and technical story about socks,” Visnack said. “Imagine what I will be able to do with knives!”

Buck said, “We look forward to Dave’s extensive e-commerce background to improve our web site and the connection to our consumers.”
