SANTA ROSA, Calif. (December 1, 2009) – Buff, Inc., known for technical and multifunctional headwear popular among the angling community, continues to push the envelope by introducing its new premium-quality line of Pro-Series Gloves® in February. This new line of highly durable Pro-Series Gloves® not only offers a UPF of 50+, but also incorporates various technical aspects to deliver exceptional functionality to anglers beyond basic UV protection. Buff, Inc.’s new Angler and Pro-Series Fighting Work Glove® models are crafted to enhance dexterity, grip and offer UV protection, as well as to provide anglers with a performance advantage literally in the palm of their hands.

“Buff, Inc. is thrilled to deliver to our loyal angler fans once again with such a leading-edge product as the new Pro-Series Angler and Fighting Work Gloves®. We are so proud to continue at the forefront of innovation and hope to see this new line evolve to accommodate needs of all anglers,” says Shirley Choi Brunetti, general manager and vice president, United States.

The Pro-Series Angler Glove® model has a Diamond Grip Palm by Clarino™ for wet and dry conditions; an Accordion finger grip to provide more surface area; longer stripping guard fingers and pads for protection against line burns; and a finger tip cut and easy-off pull tabs for functional convenience.

Additionally, the Pro-Series Angler Glove® model has taken functionality and innovation steps ahead with its anatomical thumb for full-fledged comfort. Other features include an extended cuff for extra UV protection, and fingertip cut for dexterity.

This model is offered in Skoolin Sage and Fish Camo patterns and is available in three sizes: small/medium, medium/large, and large/extra large.

Buff, Inc.’s Pro-Series Fighting Work Glove® model boasts a pole grip palm for exceptionally durable holds that continue to perform even in wet conditions. It is designed for large catches and poling, and has an angler cut for three-finger dexterity as well as specialized easy-off pull-tabs.

The Pro-Series Fighting Work Glove® also is designed with an anatomical thumb and wipe patch, an adjustable hook and loop closure, full finger protection, a three-finger tip cut for optimal dexterity and a Flex Tech™ adjustable cuff for extra mobility.

This glove model is available in Skoolin Azul and Bonefish prints and three different sizes: small/medium, medium/large, and large/extra large.

Both the Pro-Series Angler and Fighting Work Glove® models have a UPF of 50+ and breathable, moisture wicking, two-way comfort stretch for flexible lateral movement. Additionally, the Pro-Series Glove® models are made with top-quality Japanese synthetic suede that holds strong in wet conditions and also dries quickly, as well as ergonomically-stitched palm and fingers for a natural, curved hand position proven to reduce fatigue. It also features a reinforced palm overlay and unique design to reduce fabric bunching and keep things efficient and comfortable.

The Pro-Series Glove® models can be machine or hand-washed with mild detergent, but are not intended to be machine dried.

Pro-Series Angler and Fighting Work Gloves® will retail for $40.

Buff, Inc.’s new glove line will be available in February 2010.
