SANTA ROSA, Calif. (February 11, 2010) – Buff, Inc., known for technical and multifunctional headwear, is proud to be a Silver Sponsor of the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation’s (SVSEF) Janss Pro-Am Classic in Sun Valley, ID March 4-6, 2010. Buff, Inc. will be providing the group with 200 Original Buff®.

The Janss Pro-Am classic is in its 13th year. It was founded in 1998 by Beverly Hay DeChevrieux in honor of former Olympic ski team member Bill Janss, and benefits the SVSEF and their athletes. The Janss Pro-Am Classic mixes a Pro Racer with four “citizen” skier or snowboarders of all skill levels, to create five member teams that compete for prizes (including best costume) and titles over the course of three days. The pro racers will be handicapped, so everyone will have an equal chance to win.

The SVSEF is a renowned program for young skiers and snowboarders. It serves over 500 athletes in Idaho’s Wood River Valley. These young men and women have developed themselves to be some of the best competitors in the country, with one such athlete, Morgan Arritola, earning a spot on the US Ski Team for the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver.

The Janss Pro-Am classic will be held March 4-6. For more information on the race and the foundation, please visit: http://www.svsef.org/
