Durham, N.C., May 15th, 2013 – BUYSTAND, a Durham, N.C. e-commerce start-up, announced last month the public beta launch of buystand.com, an online marketplace that allows consumers to buy the outdoor gear they want at the price they want to pay. Apart from this core technology, BUYSTAND features staff-curated Collections, offering consumers valuable insights into the best gear for various adventures and activities. Today, BUYSTAND announces a partnership with the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation and the release of its newest collection, the Act with Love Collection.
Dr. Susan Love is one of the pioneers in breast cancer research, engaging women to share their health data in search of a cure. Until a cure is found, one of the most important tools Dr. Love has found to prevent breast cancer is physical fitness. This Sunday, the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation will host the 6th Annual Walk With Love 5k in Pacific Palisades, CA.
In support of the foundation and the event, BUYSTAND is donating 50% of all proceeds from the Act with Love collection and 10% of all other Buystand.com proceeds to the Dr. Susan Love Foundation through Sunday, May 19th, 2013.
