Camber Outdoors Announces Seven Camber Exchanges in July

Camber Exchanges will be held in Bend, OR; Salt Lake City, UT; Seattle, WA; San Francisco, CA; Madison, WI; Whitefish, MT; and Golden, CO

BOULDER, COLO.—July 5, 2017

Camber Outdoors, the active-outdoor industries organization that elevates and accelerates women’s leadership in the outdoors, is excited to announce seven Camber Exchange events this July. Three of the events—hosted by Hydro Flask, in Bend, OR; Trek Bicycles, in Madison, WI; and Wheelie Creative, in Whitefish, MT—will be the first-ever Camber Exchanges in those regions. Camber Exchanges are local events that connect people in the active-outdoor industries who share interests, career objectives, and passion for the outdoors. These unique happy hours, hosted by Camber Outdoors partner companies, gather women and men from all areas of the industries to network, spark ideas, learn from industry leaders, and participate in Camber Outdoors’ grassroots community. “Camber Exchange events are a way to engage our community around the vision of Everyone’s Outdoors,” said Deanne Buck, executive director of Camber Outdoors. “Thanks to support from our Camber Exchange sponsors and host companies, we’re able to give our partner companies a space to talk about why and how they’re prioritizing women’s leadership as a business imperative.” The July Camber Exchanges will be held on Tuesday the 11th and Thursday the 13th in cities across the country: Tuesday, July 11 Bend, OR • Hosted by Hydro Flask Salt Lake City, UT • Hosted by Petzl Seattle, WA • Hosted by MiiR San Francisco, CA • Hosted by Timbuk2 This event is being produced in partnership with Altitude Seven and Coalition Snow.
