CAMELBAK Re-LAUNCHES WEBSITE
PETALUMA, CA – (January 16,2006)–CamelBak Products, LLC, the world leader in hydration systems, recently launched a complete website redesign that helps consumers quickly and easily view a wide variety of hydration systems for different activities.
Working with Summit Projects, a web design firm located in Hood River, OR, CamelBak’s marketing department decided to start from scratch. The goal was a modern, streamlined site that would allow consumers to easily view CamelBak’s diverse line of hydration systems, accessory products, and corporate information. Visitors familiar with the old site will immediately recognize significant improvements.
The new site features easy access on the home page to all CamelBak product categories: recreational, military, law enforcement, government-industrial, and hunting. Browsers can begin their product search by viewing a category’s “view all†page and rolling the cursor over pack images for brief color and technical data. For more in-depth information, the new product selection tools allow consumers to sort CamelBak models by activity, storage volume, reservoir capacity, and camouflage pattern when applicable. In addition, a new product comparison tool enables consumers to place three packs side-by-side to compare and contrast their features. Site visitors are also able to access media reviews and even submit a personal review directly to CamelBak’s customer service team.
In addition to product information, the new CamelBak site has a “Why CamelBak?†link with educational information on the physiology of dehydration, CamelBak history, and more. Visitors can also signup to receive an email newsletter or participate in a sweepstakes to win packs and other prizes.
