The Outdoor Industries Women’s Coalition (OIWC) and the Women’s Wilderness Institute will both receive donations from CamelBak this tradeshow season. Building on the success of the CamelBak Bottle promotion at Winter Outdoor Retailer, where all Bottle sale proceeds were donated to the Outdoor Industry Youth Outreach program, CamelBak will again sell the bottle for charity, this time partnering with two non-profits that are instrumental in getting women involved in the outdoors.
“We’re proud to be able to again support such great organizations with our Bottle promotion,†said Aimee Einstein, Director of Marketing at CamelBak. “Both OIWC and Women’s Wilderness Institute serve an important mission of getting more women into the outdoor community, where it’s as participants or as industry leaders.â€
The sale begins the first day of the show, August 10, in the CamelBak Booth #16026 and the OIWC booth #60066, and will be sold as long as supplies last. The Bottle will be available in a variety of colors for $10.00 each.
Bottles can also be purchased at the following OIWC-sponsored activities during Summer OR:
• Leadership Seminars – Wednesday, August 9th, 1-5pm, Salt Palace MR355-C
• Ramp It Up – Friday, August 11th, 6-8:30 pm, Port O’ Call
• Anniversary Luncheon – Saturday, August 12th, 12-2pm, Salt Palace MR355-C
“Now in our tenth year, Outdoor Industries Women’s Coalition is reflecting on its important history and looking ahead to the next ten years with exciting new programs designed to help women achieve their success†said Sally Grimes, Director of the OIWC. “CamelBak’s support of OIWC recognizes the great value women bring to businesses in the outdoor industries. We are grateful to CamelBak for helping sustain us in our endeavors, and for taking a strong leadership role in the future of women in the outdoor industries.â€
