Carrie Fell Art Unveiling for Inspire 2.0, Chris Anthony’s Youth Initiative Project

Steamboat Springs, Colorado, September, 4th 2015. Friday September 4th, from 9-11 pm, the Carrie Fell Gallery, located on the upper-tier of Solaris in the heart of the Vail Village, will open its doors after-hours to help long-time local, Chris Anthony- Chaos Athlete, along with loyal and enthusiastic VIP’s and Vail Valley sports enthusiasts, launch support for his Youth Initiative Project, INSPIRE 2.0

Gallery owner and artist, Carrie Fell has created an original painting to support Chris Anthony’s mission, which was inspired by Photographer Jack Affleck’s quintessential photograph of Chris that is well known to his enthusiasts and supporters. Fell’s original painting will be unveiled for both a sneak-peek and a unique opportunity for early bidding. (that’s why we can’t show it here). Other highlights of the evening will include a custom crafted cocktail contest featuring Svedka Vodka and Casa Noble Tequila by two favorite local mixologists, Peter Christy and Brad Reefer, paired with the culinary excellence of Chef Richard A. Bailey. Proceeds will go to benefit Anthony’s Youth Initiative Project.

Chaos veteran Chris Anthony, of Anthony Adventures and the founder of the Youth Initiative Project, is a longtime Chaos spokesperson.

“We are honored to be a major sponsor of the event and kick off the fall winter season with this influential launch,” explains, Gary Supple, US Sales Director for Chaos Headwear.

Anthony explains his genuine regard for Fells’ work and his gratitude, “I became very aware of Carrie Fell when her art touched the world I love; SKIING. Carrie was the featured artist of the 2015 World Championship in Downhill ski racing; and her work was selected as the image of the ‘World Championships.’ She works the canvas with enormous energy and represents the dynamics of the sport with the right kinesthetic representation…When I saw it (her work), I wanted to be part of it. Everything about her touch of the subject to the canvases screamed fun excitement. It represents the way I attempt to see the world.”
