Cascade Designs Hires New Therm-a-Rest Associate Global Brand Manager

SEATTLE, Washington – Therm-a-Rest, the global brand leader in outdoor comfort, is pleased to announce that Jenna Wellman has joined Cascade Designs, Inc. as Associate Global Brand Manager for Therm-a-Rest. Wellman will continue building on the brand’s position as the first name in outdoor sleeping comfort, founded on over 35 years of high-quality product construction and innovation through emerging technologies.
Prior to joining Cascade Designs, Wellman held brand and business development positions with Purdy Associates (now Waypoint Outdoor) and Feathered Friends. With a focus on strategic planning and process streamlining, Wellman helped expand the capacity of the Purdy Associates outdoor sales agency and found success for clients by synergizing brand and product development with the unique, changing needs of specialty outdoor markets. Previously, at the Feathered Friends store and down-product manufacturer, Wellman played a key role in development by identifying emerging markets for the goods and pulling together a product assortment to attract these new markets to point of sale.

Wellman will work closely with Doug Jacot, the current Therm-a-Rest Business Director with 25 years under his belt, as he transitions into the development of a new business opportunity for Cascade Designs.
Wellman is also the President and Founder of Project Dialogue, an international arts non-profit, and in her free time enjoys Vinyasa yoga and a variety of outdoor pursuits including rock climbing, hiking, camping, trail running, and skiing. She begins her role immediately in the Seattle headquarters.
