Cascade Designs® Promotes Ken Meidell to Vice-President of Outdoor

SEATTLE, Wash. – Cascade Designs, a Seattle-based manufacturer of premier backpacking, recreation and medical rehabilitation products, is pleased to announce the promotion of Ken Meidell to Vice-President of Outdoor. Meidell will step into his role immediately, building on the momentum of successful new product releases for 2007 at Summer Outdoor Retailer and European OutDoor Trade Fair.

As Vice-President of Outdoor, Meidell will be responsible for maximizing the talents of a global product development, sales and marketing team, and driving the vision of the thirty-five year old company in the rapidly changing outdoor specialty market. Meidell, a seasoned outdoor practitioner, has served as Chief Information Officer with Cascade Designs for the last five years. During that time he has established the company as an industry model for supply chain information integration.
