Innovative Outdoor Recreation Mats Help Celebs Enjoy the Outdoors Without the Sand or Dirt


LOS ANGELES (January 16, 2011) – Amidst the glitz and glam at this year’s 68th Golden Globe Awards will be an innovative new product designed to get celebrities out of the gym and into the outdoors. For the first time ever, outdoor recreation mat maker CGear Sand-Free will bring the outdoors to Hollywood at the Golden Globe Red Carpet Style lounge, providing samples of their mats that let sand and dirt pass through without coming back up. Originally designed for military use as a helicopter-landing pad, CGear Sand-Free’s mats keep any outdoor environment sand and dirt-free, from the beach to the campsite.

The Red Carpet Style Lounge is located at the new SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills and will be open from 11 am to 8 pm on Friday, January 14th.
