OUTDOOR INDUSTRIES WOMEN’S COALITION

(February 22, 2007) â€“ CGPR, a boutique public relations firm specializing in consumer and outdoor sports clients, today announced it will become a gold level sponsor for the Outdoor Industries Women’s Coalition (OIWC), a non-profit association organized for the purpose of equipping women to reach their professional success in the outdoor industries through educational programming, networking and mentoring. Through this year-long sponsorship agreement, CGPR will support the coalition’s efforts to inspire women in outdoor-related businesses, as well as influence their own team members.

The OIWC equips women with tools for success by providing education, networking and mentoring opportunities, and recognizes women of great success through award programs and ceremonies. This organization serves as a platform for women to voice their passions and views on outdoor, snow sport, action sport and bicycling industries while devising positive solutions for related industry issues. Each year, CGPR will have the opportunity to participate in events during Interbike, OR Summer and Winter Markets and SIA, where OIWC will be present.
