ROCKFORD, Mich. (August 9, 2016) –Chaco is adding two major updates to its popular MyChacos custom footwear program. First introduced in 2012, the personalization program allows consumers to design their sandals and flips with a choice of webbing styles, colors, logos, outsole options, and more.
“We’re excited to add even more options to MyChacos,” said Josh Weichhand, brand marketing manager for Chaco. “Chaco fans now have a nearly unlimited way to express themselves through their sandals.”
The MyChacos program has been expanded to include embroidery on its Z sandals and flips. For an additional $20 USD, consumers can further personalize their custom footwear with up to eight embroidered characters per sandal, in seven font options, and in an assortment of 45 colors.
Also new to the MyChacos program is the popular women’s ZX/3, a triple webbing strapped sandal. There are 24 new webbing options specifically available for the ZX/3 in a variety of colors and patterns.
In addition, the program now includes a larger assortment of webbing options across the product offering, including dozens of new options from the 2016 line. The fan-favorite ultraviolet-activated, glow-in-the-dark webbings are included in the choices, as well as a new houndstooth webbing.
