This spring has brought wild weather to many parts of the United States. After many violent storms and tornadoes swept through parts of the Southeast, many Chaco fans, retailers and employees witnessed and lived through vast destruction. In an effort to lend a hand, Chaco teamed with their Chaconian fans as well as four Southeast-based retailers, Mountain High Outfitters, Kinnucan’s, Eagle Eye Outfitters and Alabama Outdoors to better understand disaster relief issues and the local need. These Chaco retailers chose several local organizations that, over the course of the next few weeks, will receive financial support, footwear and accessory products valued at more than $5000.
According to Whitney Conner, marketing manager for Chaco, “Within the Chaco brand, many of us can tell a story about an avalanche, a mudslide, a hurricane or a tornado. We have all witnessed disasters, however, none of our experiences can come near to the most recent experience in the Southeast. We want to lend some love and support to repair lives, homes and smiles.â€
