Chaco's ReChaco Team Repairs 10,000th Pair of Sandals
Chaco’s beloved ReChaco program, known as the spa that breathes new life into sandals, repairs the 10,000th pair of sandals to date this year. ReChaco repair and warranty program continues to revive adored sandals for a lifetime of adventures.

Chaco’s beloved ReChaco program, known as the spa that breathes new life into sandals, repairs the 10,000th pair of sandals to date this year.
Based in Rockford, Michigan, ReChaco has 12 year-round employees including a four-person call center. During the busy season (when 700 sandals arrive on average weekly) they bring in four extra staff members. Last year, Chaco was purchased by Wolverine World Wide and with the company’s resources behind them, the ReChaco team is able to do even more repairs. Over 10,000 pairs have been revived in the last six months and most sandals have been worn for over five years before they make their first visit to ReChaco.
“When I first received the news that I was the 10,000th customer for ReChaco, I thought it was a joke,†said Edward Snow, the 10,000th ReChaco customer. “The last three summers I have been a kayaking instructor for Back of Beyond kayak rentals on Bainbridge Island and it is through them that I was lucky enough to get my first pair of Chacos. I am so grateful for this opportunity and thank Chaco so much for taking care of me. I would have still paid for the repair because this company makes a rocking sandal.â€

Repairs cost $40 for resoling and $36 for rewebbing if the shoes are not covered by Chaco’s lifetime warranty. Once sandals are received, turn-around time is approximately five business days. www.chacousa.com.
