Chamois Butt’r and GU Energy Labs Partner at Outdoor Retailer for Butt’rd Up Morning Rides and Runs

Pleasant Valley, Missouri (July 21, 2016) – Chamois Butt’r, the ultimate skin lubricant and chamois cream developed to improve skin comfort, and GU Energy Labs, maker of performance-tested nutrition products, invite you for an early morning bike ride or run during Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in Salt Lake City. These rides and runs will take place August 3, 4 and 5 at 6:30 a.m., meeting at the southwest corner of 600 South and Main Street.

“Every time I’ve attended Outdoor Retailer, I’ve had a tradition of riding Emigration Canyon prior to show hours. There’s nothing better than starting your day with some exercise,” said Tony Stanislav, Sales and Marketing Manager at Paceline Products, Inc. “Since this is the first year Chamois Butt’r has exhibited at Outdoor Retailer, we thought we would formalize these rides a bit and encourage others to join us for an early morning sweat before the show floor opens each morning. We are adding a group run to highlight the launch of our new GoStik product, which expands our product offering to other activities beyond cycling.”

Runners and riders interested in participating should meet at the parking lot, caddy-corner to the Grand America hotel. These easy-moderate pace rides will head up Emigration Canyon each morning and the runs will be a mix of road and trail around Salt Lake City. Participants can look forward to being led on these rides and runs by local ride and run club members, other outdoor industry professionals and professional athletes including “The Queen of Pain” Rebecca Rusch, known for her record-setting victories at ultra endurance bike races, world titles in whitewater rafting, adventure racing and cross country skiing, as well as professional triathlete and coach, Ali Black. Bikes are not provided so please bring your own or rent from a local shop in advance. Please arrive by 6:15 a.m. to sign in and complete a waiver.

Following the ride or run, a light breakfast will be provided consisting of buttery croissants, bulletproof coffee (with grass-fed butter to add) and samples of GU Energy Labs’ new Energy Stroopwafels.

There will be daily raffle giveaways, courtesy of Garmin, to win Forerunner 920XT units. Those interested in the giveaway, but unable to participate in the rides or runs are welcome to enter via the below RSVP link. The winner of this giveaway will be notified on Monday, August 8.
