Chaos and Moon Shadow Headwear Report 35% Growth in Sales for the 2nd qtr. Entering a Strong Fall Season
Steamboat Springs, CO. Partnerships, innovation and service seem to be driving the success at Chaos and Moon Shadow. For both Brands, current designs and colors are growing brand awareness in the market place. Sponsorships and affiliations, and strong price points with great retail margins are also fuelling this growth.
We are now able to report 35% total growth over all brands. The growth came mostly from the Chaos brand. “We are seeing a continued fall of the traditional ski look hats, which is the focus of the Moon Shadow line.†Gary Supple, US Director, “contributes most of the growth to Chaos – current selection and unique colors, great pricing, a growing brand awareness in the market place– thru sponsorships and affiliations, and aggressive early buy programs. These programs produced strong price points and great retail margins, and we’re just good guys.†In addition, to urban and street looks, The CTR program in cold weather technical fleece and accessories has dually added to the bottom line.
Chaos admits they are belated with the good news; they just wanted to ensure it was accurate. It was clear early on; it was a great selling season. Almost every month was a record month. “We have just been hesitant to broadcast too soon.â€
How does Chaos stay with this success? “At Chaos, we anticipate continued strong growth for the brand. We continue to be a market leader and have cutting edge styles at very competitive pricing. As a factory direct, family owned, vertical headwear company, we are not a “middle man marketing†company like many of our competitors. This will always be a very strong point to our continued success. Chaos has a complete design and merchandising team who travel the globe searching for and finding new trends in all types of headwear items,†explains Supple.
It is without a doubt that profile and involvement, have driven recent successes these last 3 seasons. Chaos has worked steady to create new inroads in partnerships, alliances and major sponsorships in the Outdoor and Snow industries.
