Steamboat Springs, CO – CHAOS headwear and Vail Valley Foundation have signed a three year sponsorship program for participant gifts, as well as co-branded event merchandise of caps and beanies available at retail during this upcoming 2006/2007 season.
Chaos will be developing a specialty line of caps and beanies for each major event to reflect their personal energy and demographics. Each event has enormous audience appeal. The Birds of Prey-World Cup is the best and fastest the world has to offer in skiing. The Foundation’s initial charge was to return international ski racing to the Valley, and since 1983 they have meet their goals and beyond. The development of the Birds of Prey men’s downhill course in Beaver Creek is now recognized as one of the top downhill courses in the world and the only men¹s downhill in the US. The Beaver Creek site launches the early season World Cup competitions every December.
Next, The Honda Session, a pro-invitational snowboarding event that brings yet another new roster of national and international elite athletes to Vail for high stakes and mind stirring airtime. The Honda Session is one of the finest events of its kind nationwide.
The third event in this program is the American Ski Classic. The Classic brings Skiing legends, sports, entertainment, celebrities and corporate America together on the slopes of Vail Mountain during the peak days of March. This event combines the thrill of both professional and amateur ski racing with an array of entertainment options for fans of all ages. In its 25th year, the American Ski Classic is the oldest and largest skiing competition and festival of its kind in North America.
“We have selected from our line, as well as developed headwear in each category to reflect the attitude and desires of each very distinct group. This has been an exciting partnership in that we can design, provide a service, an event giveaway and even branded event merchandise for the local retailer,” remarks Debbie King Ford, regional representative.
Its an ideal situation, when an platform has added value gifts that can create demand at retail to support the foundation and allow the retailers to benefit from the thousands of participants and visitors wanting event memorabilia. Chaos is honored to be selected as a partner to a foundation with so much depth and social contribution to its community.
