Chaos Headwear Announces 2007/2008 Event Line Up

Steamboat Springs, CO, (November 15th) Today, CHAOS announced its 2007-2008 Fall/Winter event line up. This year’s partnerships, innovations and services are driving the good mojo at CHAOS and Moon Shadow—with current unique designs, organics, and sustainability programs CHAOS is growing awareness in the broader marketplace

It is without a doubt that profile and involvement, have increased the radar these last three seasons. Chaos has worked steadily to create new inroads in the outdoors and in the world of snow. Last season CHAOS added more events and solidified previous ones.

CHAOS is also proud to announce their new official affiliation with extreme sports personality, Chris Anthony http://www.chrisanthony.com. Anthony is renown in his field, he is an honored all mountain skier, adventure sport guide, television personality, Warren Miller Emcee for 56 premiers, and a community activist for kids. Chris will help us represent CHAOS in his worldly ways. This fall CHAOS announced their final winter sport team for 2007/2008. Check out the Team page!

Vail Valley Foundation- BIRDS OF PREY-HONDA SESSION- AMERICAN SKI Classic CHAOS headwear and Vail Valley Foundation have signed a three year sponsorship program for participant gifts, as well as co-branded event merchandise of caps and beanies available at retail during this upcoming 2007/2008 season. The Birds of Prey-World Cup kicks of the winter season as the best and fastest the world has to offer in downhill skiing. The Honda Session, in mid winter, is a pro-invitational snowboarding event that brings the best national and international elite athletes to Vail for high stakes and mind stirring airtime. The American Ski Classic brings Skiing legends, sports, entertainment, celebrities and corporate America together on the slopes of Vail Mountain during the peak days of March. www.vvf.org

Ski for Kids- Hosted by Stowe Mountain. Ski for Kids is a youth-focused education, awareness, and fundraising foundation. The weekend is fun-filled spotlighting an exciting ski team competition and charity fundraiser. 2008 marks the 9th year that Race for Kids will raise money for three important charities: The Hope and Heroes Children’s Cancer Fund, Downey Side and The Make-a-Wish Foundation of Vermont. At Snowboard Outreach Society (SOS) we are the Official Headgear Sponsor for 50 events in 2006/2007 season, every participant graduating will receive a custom SOS/Chaos beanie. USASA- United States of America Snowboard Association
For our fourth year at USASA, Chaos will be keep the competitors covered. The Championships are the world’s largest snowboard event and will be held each spring. The event will feature 25 competitions in five disciplines including: Alpine GS, Alpine Slalom, Freestyle Half pipe, Freestyle Slope style and Boarder cross®. Riders between the ages of 4 and 74 compete. www.usasa.org
