About the Session:
Created by the Vail Valley Foundation in 2003 and ranked second in the world last winter by Transworld Snowboard Magazine, the Honda Session, Presented by Game Stop is a cutting edge invitational snowboard event, featuring the Steel & Sky Rails competition for men and women, along with the men’s Bud Light men’s Slopestyle event.

The Session takes the most progressive and innovative features of what allows riders to progress to the next level by giving them a superior competitive environment in which to excel, with courses designed to be the “state of the art†in snowboard park and rail design and competitive formats that allow the riders multiple opportunities to showcase their talent.

Contested under the lights at Vail Mountain’s Golden Peak, the Honda Session, Presented by Game Stop has developed a tremendous spectator base, with an extremely viewer-friendly venue leading up the mountain with fire pits, marshmallow roasts, and the trademark soaring flame that signals each 15-minute prize money payout for the Steel & Sky Rails competition and outstanding performances in the Bud Light Slopestyle event.
