Saturday, September 18th in Jackson Hole, WY
Steamboat Springs, CO (September 10, 2010) — Chaos Headwear one of the official Teton Gravity Research (TGR), tour sponsors invites you to this season’s premier launch of the 2010 Light the Wick World Premiere Benefit Event, featuring their best jaw-dropping winter footage. The event will be held in the Teton Village, Wyoming, at Walk Festival Hall Hole, on September 18th, 2010, doors open at 5:30. The Light the Wick trailer is live on TetonGravity.com.
Chaos headwear has partnered with TGR films as the official Headwear sponsor for six years running. Chaos hats will be at fifteen nationwide film venues. This year the Jackson premiere night will benefit the Avalanche Forecast Support Organization and Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance.

Like TGR, Chaos travels the world for the best way to supply and make hats, either made green and organic, to handcrafted in Peru. TGR does the same in film making – year round. Like TGR, Chaos is also technical, offering the latest in extreme weather protection technology. The collection of CTR-Chaos Thermal Regulation is the solution to tough weather conditions, (consisting of various balaclavas, bandanas, face toasters, etc.) constructed from temperature managing materials: Pro-Stretchâ„¢ and Pro-Stretch plusâ„¢, Windshield®, Dri Release®. In fact, the TGR film crew has been a part of our CTR testing lab.
“Shot using film, HD and 3D technology, Light The Wick is about sparking the flame and watching the world’s best athletes blast off. The award-winning producers at Teton Gravity Research, crew of athletes and cinematographers captured the most fearsome footage ever witnessed. The team has traveled around the world to uncharted destinations, as well as some of their favorite stomping grounds. Follow the crew as they discover the previously un-skied big mountain playground of Petersburg, AK, find the best snow Croatia has seen in fifty years, ski deep pillows in undiscovered Italy, hit full throttle riding in British Columbia, and experience epic free-riding at Ripley Creek and North Cascades Heli.â€
This night will feature Sammy Carlson and the Stevens Pass 3D experiment, the first ever 3D ski segment (available on Bluray disc). Light the Wick showcases the most talented and well-rounded athletes in skiing together in one must-see film.
The film will show at 5:30 pm and 8:00 pm and will feature athlete appearances/poster signing and tons of giveaways. An after party will follow at the Mangy Moose Saloon with a live performance by reggae sensation Sister Carol.
