Steamboat Springs, CO Even more programs and events for CHAOS Headwear is planned for the winter 2006/2007 season. We are deepening partnerships and expanding to more East coast events in freeskiing, snowboarding and even surfing. Newly added this year are the following events: The USDSSA Deaf Olympics in Salt Lake City, Snowboarding for Breast Cancer in Stowe, Vermont, the Teton Gravity Research-TGR film tour and the Vail Valley Foundation with the Birds of Prey, Honda Session and the American Master’s Cup. CHAOS will continue to sponsor the following events with mucho gusto: USASA-United States of America Snowboard Association, SOS-Snowboard Outreach Society, Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge, events, Snowblind-The Movie, Windell’s Snow Camps, POWDER 8-New England Championships, CARBON Magazine events, as well as, the Cold Smoke Film Awards, Steamboat Tele-Fest and the ever groovin’ hip-hop, funk band- Eight Track Mind.

USDSSA- Deaf Olympics in Salt Lake City, UT- 2007
U.S. Deaf Ski & Snowboard Association is a non-profit recreational and competitive organization of Deaf and hard-of-hearing skiers and snowboarders, founded in 1968. USDSSA is a National Sports Organization (NSO) member of the USA Deaf Sports Federation (USADSF) and recognized by U.S. Ski & Snowboard Association (USSA).

USDSSA sponsors the biennial Deaf Ski & Snowboard Week, which includes the U.S. Deaf Ski & Snowboard Championships, and is responsible for selecting members of the U.S. Deaf Alpine Ski Team, U.S. Deaf Snowboard Team, and U.S. Deaf Cross-Country Ski Team, which compete in the Winter Deaf Olympics (formerly The Winter Deaf-World Games) every 4 years.

Our mission is to increase awareness about breast cancer, the importance of early detection and the value of an active lifestyle. and

Chaos will be headwear sponsor for 15 Mountain resort film showing of this years new epic in extreme and mostly insane vertical bound behavior. Teton Gravity Research (TGR) is the premier action sports entertainment and production house. Founded in 1996, TGR’s elite team consists of award winning producers, directors, and cinematographers. Vail Valley Foundation-
CHAOS headwear and Vail Valley Foundation have signed a three year sponsorship program for participant gifts, as well as co-branded event merchandise of caps and beanies available at retail during this upcoming 2006/2007 season.
The Birds of Prey-World Cup is the best and fastest the world has to offer in skiing. The development of the Birds of Prey men’s downhill course in Beaver Creek is now recognized as one of the top downhill courses in the world and the only men’s downhill in the US. The Honda Session, a pro-invitational snowboarding event that brings yet another new roster of national and international elite athletes to Vail for high stakes and mind stirring airtime. The Honda Session is one of the finest events of its kind nationwide. The American Ski Classic. The Classic brings Skiing legends, sports, entertainment, celebrities and corporate America together on the slopes of Vail Mountain during the peak days of March. This event combines the thrill of both professional and amateur ski racing with an array of entertainment options for fans of all ages. In its 25th year, the American Ski Classic is the oldest and largest skiing competition and festival of its kind in North America.

USASA- Nationals at North Star Tahoe-April
For our second year at USASA, Chaos will be keeping the competitors, staff and thousands of shredders cozy and cool at the 2006 USASA National Championship, as well as at 30 major qualifying events nationwide. Championships are the world’s largest snowboard event and will be held from March 26-April 2, at NorthStar, Tahoe. The event will feature 25 competitions in five disciplines including: Alpine GS, Alpine Slalom, Freestyle Half pipe, Freestyle Slope style and Boarder cross®. Riders between the ages of 4 and 74 compete.

SOS- Winter 2006/2007
As Snowboard Outreach Society’s (SOS) Official Headgear Sponsor for 50 events in 2006/2007 season, every participant graduating will receive a custom SOS/Chaos beanie. SOS contributes to the community in a variety of ways: helping underprivileged and at risk youth through outdoor activities, bringing the exhilaration of snowboarding to the inner city and troubled teenagers, while hosting snowboard competitions to support these efforts.

SNOW events
On board for the 5th year is Snowcountry Mountain Reports for worldwide snow conditions and radio programming, has teamed up for another great year of on-mountain events nationwide. Countless events are sponsored all winter for young people to win and compete in gravity snow sports.

Windell’s Snow Camp- 2006/2007
CHOAS threads for heads is proud to announce that it is the official Windell Camp headgear sponsor for the 2005/2006 season. Not only are we a participant in this year’s greatest training ground we have flow team members active in the camp.

SNOBLIND-full-feature film – Fall 2007 in Theaters
Red Sky Pictures and SnowCountry Mountain Reports have partnered to produce a feature film documentary about the history, culture and lifestyle of snowboarding. “Snow Blind covers the birth of snowboarding, the evolution that turned it into an Olympic sport and the passionate participants, thrill seekers and competitors that make it the most extreme of counter-cultures.”

New England Powder 8 Championships – Jay Peak Resort February 8-9 is pleased to announce the continued sponsorship support of Chaos Hats for the 2007 The first and only such event in Eastern skiing lore, the New England Championships is now entering it’s fifth year in Vermont and features the best technical skiers in the East, representing Jay Peak, Stowe, Okemo, Smugglers Notch and more, as well as some of the top western teams from Aspen, Vail, Beaver Cree and Big Sky.

The Cold Smoke Awards-Bozeman MT, April ’07
The Cold Smoke Awards is a grass roots winter mountain film event in Bozeman Montana. The event brings together the winter outdoor community in an exposé of various media work. The Cold Smoke Awards serves as venue for up and coming filmmakers, photographers and athletes to get their foot in the door of a growing Multi-media film industry. The hats donated by Chaos, were included in many of the prize packages awarded to filmmakers and athletes at this years event.

The Band- Eight Track Mind-Touring the West Coast ’07
The Eight Track Mind sound is both urban and active. The lyrics are poetry in motion, topics ranging from the liberating senses of skating and riding to the war in Iraq, to the highly personal quests of life and its meaning. Not only is this band musically dialed and tight with and array of horns, DJ jams, guitar, ripping female vocals and syrupy smooth raps-2 MC’s, their alter egos include professional skaters, semi-pro riders, muralists, film and graphic artists. Creativity and creation are one, and a phenomenal sound to go with it.
