Chaos Sweden Signs Champion Freeskier Emma Dahlström

Montreal QUE – November 14, 2016 –Chaos Headwear, makers of high quality headwear in North America and worldwide, has added world champion Freeskier Emma Dahlström to their athlete team.

The 24-year-old phenomena from the small village of Torsby, Sweden, has taken on the male dominated Swedish freestyle scene. While the guys from the far north have been shaking things up since the inception of New School skiing, females are now a force to be reckoned with. Emma Dahlström has been collecting top slopestyle and big air results since 2010. Winning the European Freeski Open in 2011 thrust Emma onto the international freeski stage. In 2015, Emma made headlines by demolishing the competition with a first place win at X Games Aspen, and also placed first at the FIS World Cup in Park City, Utah. In 2014/2015, Emma ranked first in both the FIS Freestyle World Cup and the AFP World Ranking in Slopestyle. In 2016, she won gold in the Big Air event at X Games in Chile.

 After learning to ski at just two years old with her father, a ski instructor, Emma switched from Alpine racing to snowboarding when she was nine. Four years later she returned to skiing when she found freestyle. Her formative years in the snowpack of Kläppen took her to the top but her biggest motivation, her love for the mountains, remains.

With the 2018 Winter Games in Korea on the horizon, Emma is thrilled to see what the future will hold.
