Cloudveil Co-founder/President Sullivan Resigns

Cloudveil, producer of inspired mountain apparel, announces the resignation of Co-founder/President Stephen Sullivan. Sullivan leaves Cloudveil after almost thirteen years to pursue personal interests.

Sullivan has overseen Cloudveil’s product, marketing, sales and retail divisions through the course of the company’s history, starting the company with Co-founder Brian Cousins in 1997 out of a tiny 400 square-foot office in downtown Jackson, and building it into one of the top outdoor apparel brands on the market.

“My resignation from Cloudveil was submitted in late January as I was made aware that there would be a change in ownership,” explained Sullivan. “Although the last 13 years have been extremely rewarding, I decided that it was simply time for me to take a step back and re-evaluate both personal and professional objectives. I am very proud of what Cloudveil has become, and look forward to watching the brand continue to evolve and achieve its full potential in the years to come. I sincerely thank all of those who put energy and effort into making Cloudveil the brand it is today.”

Spyder Active Sports, Inc. sold its ownership of Cloudveil Mountain Works to Windsong Brands LLC of Westport, CT late last week. Jim Reilly has been named President of the new company, Cloudveil Mountain Peak, LLC.
