Boulder, Co. (March 15, 2016) – Club Ride Apparel (CRA), the Sun Valley-based creators of casual-performance cycling apparel designed for the ride and everything after, has selected Momentum Media PR as its public relations agency of record. Effective immediately, Momentum will begin working closely with the in-house team at CRA to broaden awareness and media presence for the bike and lifestyle apparel brand in all channels including digital and social.
Born in the mountains of Sun Valley Idaho, where Club Ride’s Ride Daily™ ethos rolls strong, the brand is branching out to reach the active consumer beyond the bike, and answering the demand of the athleisure and multisport trends.

The idea to make functional, stylish cycling apparel was born from founder Mike Herlinger. Seeking a balance between riding apparel that performed as well as a lycra kit, and comfortable clothes for gathering with friends post-ride, Herlinger came up with the concept of a western-styled shirt with bike jersey functionality. From there Club Ride has grown into a multi-category active brand that features men’s and women’s casual-performance jerseys, shorts, jackets, InnerWear™, denim, and pants.
For fall 2016 Club Ride is expanding within and beyond the core bike realm to offer three distinct categories for a broader range of users: Journey, Adventure and Train.
The Journey collection is the heart and soul of Club Ride and is best described as the “multi-tool” of their apparel catalog. Iconic Club Ride styles like the men’s New West and women’s Hermosa ¾ tops are part of this versatile, bike-centric offering.
The Adventure line is about never letting the elements stop you from getting outside with the brand’s technical and bike-specific design. Styling keeps the silhouettes casual and contemporary enough to transition into daily activities, like the men’s Crush Short and Roadeo Top.
Club Ride introduces the Train category as the premier sports performance brand in the established spin/indoor training space that is currently underserved by outdoor and existing bike brands.
