Colorado Teardrops, specializing in premium teardrop style trailers, is excited to announce the addition of the new “Pinnacle” series in its 2019 product line. The Pinnacle models offer greater off-road capabilities and are designed for remote and rugged adventures, while maintaining the company’s signature aerodynamic and low-profile teardrop designs.
This new product offering comes at the heels of the company’s expansion and relocation in October of last year. Colorado Teardrops’ new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and lean manufacturing process has resulted in optimized production capabilities, enabling the company to produce more innovative trailers to better serve its growing customer base. The new Pinnacle product offerings include two models, the Canyonland Pinnacle and Summit Pinnacle.
“We’re excited to take our popular Canyonland and Summit models to the next level,” says Dean Wiltshire, founder & CEO of Colorado Teardrops. “With new elements such as Lock’n Roll articulative hitches and Timbren Axle-Less Suspension, these new models will allow you to travel comfortably over the most technical, off-road terrain.”
The Canyonland Pinnacle ($17,500 MSRP) is the company’s extreme off-road model that comfortably sleeps two, and even more if you add a rooftop tent. The Canyonland will match your Jeep or Toyota capabilities, and get you far off the beaten path. It features a Lock’n Roll articulative hitch, which allows for entering and leaving ravines, rock crawling, and smooth highway travel. It also comes with Nerf Bars to further harden your Teardrop , and its 1 Tonne Timbren Axle-less Suspension with electric Brakes allows for precise control as you tackle the more difficult terrain. The Canyonland Pinnacle’s interior cabin features warm, colorful beetle kill siding and is equipped with a queen size bed, making it the ideal choice for intrepid couples or single travelers.
The Summit Pinnacle ($26,600 MSRP) is the company’s top-of-the-line model designed for extreme off-road, year round adventures and will follow your overland rig with ease. It’s big enough to accommodate a young family, as it’s equipped with a queen size bed and convertible bunk beds. It also comes with plenty of shelving and under floor storage and a massive galley featuring stove sliders and bi-folding doors. Its structural aluminum welded cabin is triple insulated and sits on a tough steel trailer frame with skid plates.
Colorado Teardrops is uniquely positioned in the confluence between traditional campers/backpackers and RVers – their trailers are compact enough to be pulled by almost any car, durable enough for off-roads, and competitively priced. Since 2014, they’ve been building high-quality, streamlined trailers that are built to last decades. The company’s latest Pinnacle models appeal to customers that are interested in taking more off-the-grid adventures and accessing remote, hard to reach areas.
