PLAINVILLE, Mass., January 17, 2019 Croakies, the original manufacturer of industry-leading outdoor retention products, today announces the launch of the Abby Paffrath x Croakies Artist Collection as part of its 2019 model line.

A true mountain girl, Abby Paffrath was born and raised in Breckenridge, CO before settling in the iconic town of Jackson, WY. Her deep experiences in the outdoors growing up, as a skier, rancher, and flyfisher woman, continue to influence her work as an artist today. Paffrath’s work is largely focused on the traditional wax resist dye technique, batik, a skill she perfected following a transformative stint in Bali, Indonesia.

Frequently displayed throughout mountain towns across the American West, Abby Paffrath prints have become synonymous with outdoor adventure, with her unique works of art even forming the basis for her own Art4All by Abby brand of headwear.

In 2019, Abby Paffrath brings her unique batik style to Croakies®, an exciting step forward for an artist whose work vastly transcends beyond these iconic western towns, and a brand with a 40+ year history of blending premium outdoor accessories with bold, creative storytelling.

“My favorite part of creating batiks is the mystery; the finished product is unlike anything else, and the process itself is so captivating,” explains Paffrath. “I love when fashion and creativity are incorporated with functional, well-designed outdoor gear.”

“Abby’s ability to translate the beauty of the western landscape into bold works of art is unrivaled, and when you bring in Croakies’ industry-leading collection of outdoor retention products, you’ve got a truly unique collaboration designed to inspire your next adventure,” states Chris McCullough, Croakies’s Director of Marketing.

The Abby Paffrath x Croakies Artist Collection will be formerly introduced to the industry at this month’s Outdoor Retailer Snow Show (Jan 30- Feb 1, Denver, Colo.) trade show (Croakies Booth #44048-UL) and will be available for purchase across Croakies’s retailer network and via croakies.com in the spring of 2019.
