CW-X PERFORMANCE APPAREL CONTINUES TO

GROW FOR FALL/WINTER ’08

PerformX Tights Added, VersatX Line Expands, and New Colors Across the Range

NEW YORK, N.Y. (Dec. 21, 2007) – The Wacoal Sports Science Corporation, makers of CW-X® Conditioning Wear (www.cw-x.com), has introduced PerformX, the newest addition to their line of targeted-support tights. Other new additions for Fall/Winter 2008 include the VersatX Web Top and Zip-T, StabilyX 3/4 length tights and new colors across the line.

The Coolmax/Lycra four-way stretch PerformX Tights incorporate focused support to the major muscle groups of the legs in a different patented Conditioning Web configuration than in the Expert, Pro, or StabilyX Tights currently offered by CW-X. The support structure of the PerformX is focused on hip-flexors, quadriceps and ilio-tibial bands (IT bands), and it will be available in men’s and women’s sizes for a sug. ret. of $75.

The VersatX Web Top incorporates an upper body Conditioning Web support structure that specifically targets the trapezius muscles and scapular bones of the upper back to assist in supporting posture and creating more controlled shoulder and arm motion – leading to more efficient movement. VersatX products are made from Dry-Zone fabric, which offers quick-dry moisture wicking, and UPF 50+ UV protection through the use of titanium-oxide nanotechnology. Dry-Zone fabric also features anti-bacterial silver nano-composites and four-way stretch comfort.

The VersatX line will be expanded further with the new Zip-T (which will not include the support web), featuring Dry-Zone fabric, flat-seam construction, a half zip with wind-flap and zip cover. The new VersatX Tops will join the current VersatX Tights to form a mid-weight technical base layer and will be available in men’s and women’s sizes for $90 sug. ret. for the Web Top and $85 for the Zip-T.

“We’re happy to be able to offer these important new additions to our ever expanding product line,” said John L.A. Wilson, president/COO of Wacoal Sports Science Corporation. “The PerformX Tights and new VersatX Tops effectively complement what we believe is the most advanced anatomically-engineered apparel collection in the sports and outdoor market today.”

More New Additions For Fall/Winter ’08

The popular StabilyX line will feature a 3/4 length tight for men and women with a sug. ret. of $86. Insulator Expert Tights will come with red stitching for men and rose pink stitching for women with a sug. ret. of $95. VersatX Tights will be offered in dark grey to complement the new dark grey VersatX Tops with a sug. ret. of $65.

The women’s sport support top with built-in sports bra will be offered in black/rose pink colors with a sug. ret. of $55, while the Xtra Support Zip bra will now be offered in white/rose pink with a sug. ret. of $65 for the fall. The men’s LiteFit long sleeve Zip-T will add a red color with a sug. ret. of $60, and the women’s LiteFit Top will be available in periwinkle and rose pink at the same price.

The ElementX line of outerwear will be offered in black with dark grey accents with sug. ret. prices of $88, $70 and $68 for jacket, vest and pants respectively.

Wacoal Sports Science has been issued patents for CW-X technology in Japan and Europe, with 15 patents in the U.S. alone. CW-X has been extensively tested and proven in competition by Olympics medalists, cyclists in the Tour de France, and climbers on two separate and successful Mt. Everest expeditions.
