Two Exclusive Deals Signed With Mexico’s Deportes Marti, Snow and Rock in U.K.
NEW YORK, N.Y. (Sept. 25, 2007) – The Wacoal Sports Science Corporation (WSSC), makers of CW-X® Conditioning Wear (www.cw-x.com), have appointed exclusive retailers in Mexico and the United Kingdom, making the brand available in those countries for the first time. Mexico and the U.K. join the brand’s existing markets in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Distribution to other countries is planned for the near future.
In the U.K., WSSC will launch CW-X in Snow and Rock Sports Ltd. (www.snowandrock.com), the U.K.’s leading outdoor specialty chain with 15 stores and a strong Web and catalog business. The agreement is for a one-year exclusive retail launch and distribution of the brand during which time CW-X also plans to appoint a U.K. distributor to cover all running, outdoor and ski specialty channels.
Deportes Marti (www.marti.com.mx) will become the exclusive retail partner for the CW-X brand in Mexico. The retailer is the largest sports specialty retailer in the country with over 90 stores, a Web business and a chain of sports fitness clubs. Deportes Marti is also the largest road race organizer and event manager in Mexico.

This year, as Wacoal Sports Science Corp. celebrates its fifth anniversary in the U.S., CW-X is available in over 800 specialty retail outlets in all 50 states, and on the Web. From a one product company, CW-X now offers 43 styles for men and women.
CW-X tights and tops use an integrated Conditioning Web of nylon/Lycra panels to provide targeted support to muscles and joints, thus allowing athletes to go beyond their normal abilities.
WSSC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Japan’s Wacoal Corp. (NASDAQ: WACLY), one of the world’s largest manufacturers of intimate apparel, which sells over 75 million underwear garments worldwide each year.
