Dahlgren Footwear Introduces New Sock Categories, Styles for Winter 20

Dahlgren Footwear is proud to introduce nine new styles and two new categories for Winter 2011. Combining the ultimately soft, comfortable blend of Alpaca and Merino with patented wicking technology, Dahlgren Footwear delivers dry, blister free feet like no one else can.

Dahlgren’s patented moisture management system combines the natural wicking and absorbing qualities of Alpaca and Merino Wool and combines them with Dahlgren’s ECO-Dri, a 100% recycled Polyester, in a patented design than actively pulls moisture from the foot and moves it out of the shoe and up the leg of the sock, where it can actually evaporate.

Dahlgren will be introducing two new categories for Winter 2011, including their all-new Artist Series with exclusive designs from local Portland, OR artist Dagmar Gewiese, invoking serene natural imagery that belies the highly technical design of the sock.

Adding the new W’s SnoComp to the ski lineup, this new design is non-cushion for a snug, low-volume fit without sacrificing warmth or moisture control. The new W’s SnoComp features feminine detailing with strong lines like the women who wear them.

The Casual collection gains the Women’s Confetti and the Men’s Metro Tweed. Performance socks aren’t just for working out. Feet need to be dry and comfortable all day, every day to avoid long term skin damage caused by constant dampness cause by being trapped within non-breathable shoes.

The Women’s Hiking Light Stripe will more easily pass for a Lifestyle sock than a dedicated performer, but don’t be fooled.
