Skida Headwear & Accessories is the Official Hat of Ski Vermont

BURLINGTON, VT (Oct 22, 2015) – Skida Headwear & Accessories has partnered with Ski Vermont, also known as the Vermont Ski Areas Association, for the 2015-2016 season as the ‘official hat brand’.

The colorful hats, adorned with the Ski Vermont and Skida logos, will be used throughout the ski and snowboard season for marketing and promotional purposes. Skida, founded in 2008 by Corinne Prevot, is best known for their Made in Vermont Collection of hats, headbands, and neckwarmers made with limited edition colorful prints.
“Our mission at Skida is in local production, limited edition products, and a fresh perspective. And — to support our local community, ” commented Prevot. “Partnering with Ski Vermont was a natural fit for us since our roots started on the ski slopes and trails.”
Prevot started the idea of Skida while attending Burke Mountain Academy and grew the business when she went on to Middlebury College where she was on the Nordic team. The name Skida, mean’s ‘ski’ in Swedish.
