Asheville, NC – Darby Communications, a boutique Public Relations firm specializing in the outdoor, fitness and wellness industries, has strengthened their already robust team with two new employees, Suzanne Hermann and Julie Bacon. The team’s expansion supports the firm’s latest service offering of digital marketing, which is now provided to current and potential clients.
Suzanne Hermann joins Darby Communications as an Account Executive, following 6 years as a top news producer at WLOS News 13, where she received an Emmy for Best Newscast. Suzanne followed her producing career with a year as an AmeriCorps conservationist, which solidified her passion for the outdoors and allowed her to expand on her artful storytelling ability. When she’s not working with the firm, Suzanne enjoys hiking, playing volleyball, and watching her daughter outgrow all of her clothes.
A mountain biker, fly fisherwoman, and general outdoor enthusiast, Julie Bacon joins the Darby Communications team as Account Coordinator. Bacon’s various experiences with program and special event coordination greatly support her role at the firm. Since becoming a team member, Julie has enjoyed getting to know the Darby clients’ products and voices, so she can make them shine through social media management and creative pitches.
Through the addition of Hermann and Bacon, Darby Communications will continue to augment and streamline their digital marketing services.
