Reno, NV – April 3, 2019 – Known for its dedication to sourcing local materials, small batch designs and style-driven functionality, Deso’s new line of caps breathes life into a new season of Spring adventure. Thoughtfully designed with the modern explorer in mind, Deso releases four new USA-made cap styles: Big Sur, Tamarack, Jono and Corduroy. Two hats in the collection feature patches designed in collaboration with award-winning, Laxalt & McIver, bringing a creative twist to local places of inspiration.

“A collection of caps for a collection of adventures, our spring line-up includes updated versions of our timeless staples and brand new styles motivated by our experiences in Desolation Wilderness.” says Deso Founder, Jordan Basile.

Influenced by a favorite local backcountry touring spot and destined for Spring skiing trips, Tamarack (MSRP $34) is a six-panel polyester and spandex microfiber double knit cap with a stitched patch. The Tamarack is both quick-dry and antimicrobial to keep skiers and hikers sweat-free on strenuous climbs. The five-panel waxed canvas Jono (MSRP $36) rocks it on the river as a waterproof and packable option for fly fishing, rafting and summer romping. The Jono features Deso’s signature paracord detailing and woven patch.

The water resistant five-panel Big Sur (MSRP $34) makes workwear stylish with its cotton twill fabric, paracord detail and stitched patch. Say hello to this woodworking, painting and crafting sidekick. Last in the new cap collection is the Feet & Fingertrips corduroy five-panel (MSRP $34), born to thrive in a mountain town, make a beer run, cover up helmet hair or chill by the firepit on a cool evening. Made with soft corduroy fabric, paracord detailing and woven patch.

About Deso

Founded in 2016, Deso is the art form of getting lost. That art form translated into a project that ripened in Desolation Wilderness – a shamanic trip through the vast nothingness shared with a crew of DIY-minded wild spirits digging into anything that isn’t standard. Deso combines the frustrations of a whole generation who’s demanding authenticity. The brand finds resolve in a cool cocktail of design, nature and travel, resulting in designs that provide function-driven daily wearability. Inspired by the Sierra Nevada and made in small batches in San Francisco, CA. #wayoutthere
