Diamondback Fitness Flexes Muscle, Reorganizes Sales Team with Familiar Industry Faces

Camarillo, CA – Diamondback Fitness, a leading manufacturer of feature-packed, high-value fitness equipment, announces a reorganization of its sales team. Familiar faces to the industry now in place are:
Jay White as national sales manager, and regional sales representatives David Shoemaker (east), Corey Atkinson (midwest) and Karsten Hagen (west). Greg Ford, the company’s former midwest regional representative, will take over the southern region. The move is intended to capitalize on the company’s strategic shift to become a dominant, full-line cardio supplier to specialty fitness retailers.

Diamondback Fitness is positioning to become a full-line cardio supplier, and we’ve set aggressive goals to achieve superior customer levels going forward,†said Steve Lindenau, president of Diamondback Fitness. “The reorganization of the sales force will assure the success of our strategic plan going forward. We’re thrilled to have Jay, David, Corey, Karsten and Greg on board. It’s going to be a tremendous year for the brand.â€
Jay White, national sales manager, is known throughout the fitness industry for exceptional relationship-building, organizational and communications skills. He brings over ten years of extensive industry experience in business development, strategic planning, sales leadership, and key account management to the company.

This was a dream opportunity I couldn’t pass up!†said White. “I’m thrilled to be onboard with this great group of industry professionals to help grow this brand in the fitness industry at such an exciting time for the company.â€
Reporting to White will be four regional sales professionals; veteran Greg Ford will be joined by three new representatives who bring extensive industry experience and a great reputation with dealers in their regions to Diamondback Fitness.
David Shoemaker, Eastern representative, is an accomplished sales and marketing pro with excellent skills in analyzing dealers’ needs and building a loyal customer base. His previous sales management positions were with Alex Enterprises and Trek Bicycle Corporation.
In the Midwest, Corey Atkinson will be joining the Diamondback Fitness team from her most recent position as an inside sales representative within the Fitness Industry. Atkinson brings to the company strong experience in customer service with exceptional dealer relationship skills.
Karsten Hagen, with multi year’s experience in the Fitness Industry, is stepping in as Western representative for Diamondback Fitness. In addition to Hagen’s extensive outside sales experience, he brings inside product management background to the company.
Greg Ford, formerly Midwest representative for Diamondback Fitness, will be moving his territory to the Southern region, as the company’s southern representative. Ford’s sales management expertise and strong business planning skills will continue to be well utilized assets by the company.
