eCommerce and Outdoor Offices Move into Company’s Former Retail Store Location
Mason, OH – Downlite, America’s premiere manufacturer of down, feather and synthetic bedding products, and major supplier of responsibly-sourced down to outdoor and apparel markets, recently renovated its former Cincinnati-based retail store to accommodate the company’s expanded eCommerce and Outdoor divisions, which relocated from Downlite’s nearby corporate headquarters.
According to Stefan Hunter, Downlite director of eCommerce who spearheaded the renovation, the company wanted to repurpose the 6,500 square foot building to minimize its environmental footprint, an ongoing corporate sustainability initiative that aligns with the recent installation of Downlite’s new waste water recovery system.
A total of approximately 30 Downlite employees from the company’s eCommerce and Outdoor divisions will move into the new ergonomically-designed and renovated building. Downlite eCommerce sells hotel style beddingor overstock down bedding manufacturer direct. Downlite Outdoor process and sells innovative and traceable down to the apparel and outdoor market.
“Downlite’s eCommerce and Outdoor divisions have experienced impressive and consistent year-over- year, double-digit growth,” said Hunter. “We are thrilled to have this newly renovated location to call home and allow us the opportunity for continued expansion.”
