London, UK (Feb. 23, 2012)- Drift, maker of the most innovative and user-friendly wearable HD helmet cameras, is proud to announce its primary sponsorship of the 15th annual El Dorado Freeride World Tour Qualifier in Vallnord, Andorra, Feb. 23-28.
El Dorado is an extreme ski and snowboard freeride competition that recently advanced to a Category Four Freeride World Tour Qualifier (FWQ), the highest level before the Freeride World Tour (FWT). El Dorado brings together professional competitors from over 20 countries, in southern Europe’s most extreme Pyrenees Mountain setting to create an exciting, world-class competition.
Drift will provide new Drift HD helmet cameras to the top finishers in each of the four categories: female ski, female snowboard, male ski and male snowboard. The professional camera production team will also be outfitted with Drift HD cameras to capture all the action.

In addition to sponsoring the competition, Drift is teaming up with Trickon.com, a Spanish action sports community and website, for a spectator photo contest. El Dorado spectators are encouraged to take photos and submit them to Trickon.com. The top two photo submissions will win a new Drift HD. Contest details can be found here.
