Drop a Ten, Get a T, Help a Teen -Sport Science Vends Shirts for BCM

During Summer Market 07, Big City Mountaineers (BCM) and Sport Science are teaming up in a unique fundraising effort. Vending machines placed at both exhibitors’ booths will dispense Sport Science technical base layers in exchange for a $10 donation to BCM.

“We’re always looking for creative fundraising ideas that draw traffic to our booth and our partners’ booths,” says Mark Godley, BCM Executive Director. “The Sport Science vending machines will definitely be a show stopper.”

The vending machines will hold a variety of Sport Science’s moisture management base layer garments, a concept the company refers to as “legitimate performance in a casual, wearable garment.” Attendees insert money into the machine, or a token purchased at the BCM booth, and punch in the size and color he or she desires.

“At Sport Science we understand that it is not only important to create smarter performance wear, but equally important to bring a smarter impact to the community and the world we live in,” says Neal Caplowe, founder/owner of Sport Science. “We have chosen to partner with Big City Mountaineers and help make the world a smarter place for kids.”
