Dynafit Stacks Sales & Marketing Department with Two New Hires

Bracing itself for another record-setting season, Dynafit appoints Keith Patterson as new Director of Sales and Marketing and Pete Swenson fills the newly-created Brand Activation Manager position.

Bracing itself for another record-setting season, Dynafit – leader of the no compromises backcountry ski revolution – is pleased to announce the appointment of two team members in its Sales and Marketing Department. Keith Patterson takes the role of Director of Sales and Marketing, and Pete Swenson fills the newly-created Brand Activation Manager position.

Both of these posts will be critical, as Patterson and Swenson both play critical brand-stewardship roles, while also driving sales and marketing programs to advance the Dynafit revolution in the specialty marketplace.

No stranger to the outdoor retail world, Patterson comes to Dynafit from Deuter USA, where he most recently managed the sales and marketing division for the specialty backpack company. Prior to his experience at Deuter, Patterson also worked as a buyer/manager for retailers like, Quest Outdoors, and River Sports Outfitters. An excellent climber, skier, photographer and outdoorsman, Patterson has a long history on the Colorado Front Range, and as a graduate of the University of Colorado brings with him extensive hands-on product knowledge, organizational skills, and a passion for sports. His responsibility at Salewa North America extends to the entire brand portfolio.

Dynafit is also excited about the on-hill credibility and talents of Swenson, with his strong background in backcountry skiing and ski mountaineering. Swenson, the Director of US Ski Mountaineering Association, a two-time US Ski Mountaineering National Champion, and the series promoter for the COSMIC Colorado Ski Mountain Cup since 2007, also brings with him solid retail experience, having formerly been a sales rep for SkiTrab and a technical rep for C.A.M.P. As Brand Activation Manager, Swenson will be responsible for implementing sales and marketing programs to advance dealer support efforts, while also playing a key role in technical product knowledge in order to provide the expertise and sales support required to communicate Dynafit’s industry-leading product line.
